The Nautilus Inspired Home

Easily one of the world’s interesting and unique works of architecture, this piece of real estate was designed by Javier Sensonian and was completed in 2006.

The said architect gains inspiration from Mother Nature—thus being dubbed as a “bio-architect.” This nautilus inspired home is located in Mexico City and boasts of a cavernous interior artfully filled with small trees and ornamental plants.

As you can see from the photo above, there are stone steps shaped like flat corrals to complete the underwater look.

The stone steps lead directly to the home’s front door which is not easily distinguishable because it blends well with the mosaic façade.
